This was taken at the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston. It is a round sculpture comprised of steel sundries of sorts.
I went to downtown Fort Worth a couple of days ago in hopes of finishing up some of my summer assignments for AP 2D design. The plan was to get there around 7 in the morning to maybe get some sunrise-lit silhouette shots, because everything goes according to my plans (but not really), I got up there at 9. Oh wellsies (disclaimer: the excuse for this is not “YOLO”). The highlight of the whole day was that apparently I thought it was okay to lie down in the middle of a four way intersection to fit the entire building in my shot (I don’t own a wide angle lens, YET). This partially had some reason because it was Sunday, and it wasn’t very traffic-y. I ended up not being vigilant enough, and nearly got run over by a Ford F-150. The driver flicked me off, TWICE. I feel as if I’ve reached a milestone in my “stranger encounters”; it was my first time to receive a gesture as vulgar as that from anyone. I’m not entirely sure as to what my feelings are towards this incident yet.
